Would you guys be down for a coupon code? Just wondering who out there in tumblr land would want a pretty sweet discount for some pretty ballin’ prints. (Ok, I promise to never use the word “ballin” ever again—well, scratch that I take it back I can’t make that promise—I enjoy the word too much. Its official: word of the day goes to ballin’).
Here is a lil taste of what I do <3
Thoughts?

So since The Bubs got me this argus c3 for Valentines Day I decided “Hey, let me check out and see if I can find an old manual for this bad boy”.
Google, you impressed me again. Thank you for finding this manual for me—now I know that when my subject’s torso is disengaged from its body that it is indeed “out of focus” and not some mutant trying to come after me.
If this camera really does take photos like that out of focus I may never ever ever leave it in focus ever again. Bring it Mutant-apocalypse!

This is one of the gifts the Bubs got me for Valentine’s Day.
I.AM.IN.LOVE.
Oh yeah, I love him too.
Anyone have one of these bad boys?

“Wish You Where Here” - Save The Date Created by Leonora Jennifer for Yellow Heart Art
I think weddings should be light, carefree and fun. I mean there is a time and a place for foo-foo, but I dig grungy inspired post cards as a save the date.

“Love is When you Make Magic Happen With Your Camera” - Graphic Print by Leonora Jennifer for Yellow Heart Art
You know that moment I’m talking about. You set up your camera, you got your aperture just so, the shutter speed calculation is perfect, now here comes that crucial moment between now and when you press the shutter release button where you’re either going to shout “EUREKA!” or $(*&%$)(**#)! <——those are not so nice words by the way, in case you were wondering. This moment is one of the most terrifying moments in a photographer’s life. Well that and discovering that your camera wasn’t as screwed in to the top of the tripod as tightly as you thought it was and you see your precious DSLR in slow-mo crash down to the floor in a fiery pit of doom. You may or may not scream some more obscenities in this situation, but if you did we wouldn’t blame you.
And then, it happens. That photo you had wanted so badly turns out perfectly. You swear you can hear angels singing and see the clouds parting above your head. (They are parting by the way, just for you)
It probably is one of thee best top 10 feelings in the world.
Waddya think? Should I add it to the shop? Would you want one of these prints?

I’m sure I’m not alone here, fellow artists, when I say that it takes A LOT for me to buy another designer’s artwork. I mean it has to be real stinkin’ good for me to want to buy it and not attempt to “re-create it” or “re-vamp” it myself to save some money and of course spare my ego.
But when I came across Joe’s Monster Gallery shop I knew that I had stumbled upon something awesome. Something different. Something that just screamed to me “Leonora, quit being a brat and buy his stuff already, ok? You know you’ll squeal in delight the second it lands at your door step” (I hate it when my inner voice makes sense…)
Joe creates fun retro inspired prints that are wait for it…wait for it… affordable!
I bought 3 of his camera prints so I can add it to my studio. Check out his work, the kids got talent.

A Polaroid that’s retro, grunge, and pink? yes please.

“I’m Here, You’re There, Let’s Change That…OK?” - Graphic Print Created By Leonora Jennifer for Yellow Heart Art
**COMING SOON TO YELLOW HEART ART**
An 8x10 graphic print of a vintage old map with a little spot for “you” and “your loved one”. I was inspired to make this print after my Bubs (side note: “Bub” is my boyfriend, not my dog BTW) was deployed and we were literally on opposite time zones. Maybe your love one travels a lot, maybe you’re at different schools, maybe they’re only 5ft away but you like to think that if you’re not feeling their heart beat then they’re too far away from you. In any event I like to think this print speaks to everyone not just us Military relationship chicks.
Enjoy Ya’ll! (Nope, the “ya’ll” thing STILL doesn’t work for me. Darn)
